Looking for an experienced Care Manager in Dalmeny, NSW.

About 1 hour drive from Bega, 50 mins from Batemans Bay and 3 hours from Canberra.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the aged care facility, manage team of 30 employees
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain a high standard of care.
  • Develop and implement care plans for residents, promoting their well-being.
  • Lead and inspire a team of healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding service.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the overall quality of care provided.
  • Identify training needs for employees and facilitate access to appropriate education and learning and development opportunities
  • Undertake regular workforce planning to ensure the skill mix meets the care needs of residents.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS:
Current nursing registration (AHPRA)

WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 5 years post graduate experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar leadership role
  • Knowledge and empathy of health and social issues of the aged
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets and financial control
  • High level knowledge of the relevant Aged Care Funding model and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Sound knowledge of ACFI, Aged Care Legislation and Accreditation
  • Current driver’s licence
