Job description: Our client,a global supplier of electrical wire and cable is seeking a to join their team. As a Distribution Center Laborer you will be part of the Distribution and production Team supporting Production. The ideal candidate will have Strong Communications and attention to detail and motivated will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Split Shift Distribution Center Laborer
Location: New Berlin, WI
Pay Range: $17/hr.
What’s the Job?
- Receiving: Inspect inbound stock for quality, count, and type
- Ensure purchase order, packing slip and bill of lading for receipt accuracy; Process stock through computer entry while preparing inventory for put-away
- Shipping: Select shipping method based on best practices to meet company requirements and customer expectations; Prepare orders for both LTL and small parcel shipment; Verify shipments are packed properly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction
- Pull, put back, or stage product by using a forklift and occasional physical lifting
- Use tablets, RF Scanners and/or other computer-like devices for appropriate scanning of product
What’s Needed?
- A high energy, dependable teamwork attitude and effective communication skills
- Ability to bend, twist, lift up to 50 lbs and stand for entire 8 hour shift
- SAP or have experience working with different Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Have worked UPS and FedEx shipping systems in warehouse or DC
- Ability to use Basic Outlook Functions
