Job description: We are currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the costs and finances of construction projects. Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates, budgets, and cost plans for construction projects
- Analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documents to determine accurate project costs
- Manage and negotiate contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Create and maintain detailed cost reports and documentation
- Track project costs, progress, and variations
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to control and manage project costs
- Conduct site visits and inspections to verify work progress and costs
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Proven work experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, design standards, and building codes
- Proficient in cost estimation and budgeting software
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Expected salary: 5700 – 6200 per month
