- Analyzing and managing costs
- Developing and maintaining cost accounting systems to track expenses and identify areas for cost reduction or efficiency improvement
- Conducting regular cost variance analysis to compare actual costs to budgeted or standard costs
- Collaborating with procurement and production teams to optimize purchasing decisions and minimize waste
- Generating reports and presenting findings to management to support strategic decision-making
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations in all cost-related activities
- Participating in budgeting and forecasting processes to provide accurate cost projections
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing cost-saving initiatives across the operations
