Job description: My client is seeking a talented and ambitious Financial Accountant to join their team in Cape Town
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing valuable insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation and analysis of journals
Reconciling and maintaining balance sheet accounts
Collaborating with internal teams to streamline financial processes
Contributing to the development and improvement of financial policies and procedures
Providing financial information for audits and working closely with internal/external auditors
Financial reporting
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
SAICA/SAIPA Articles
Proven experience (5 years) working as a Financial Accountant or in a similar role
Prior experience working with multiple currency transactions
Compliance and Regulation
Attention to Detail
Communication Skills
Time Management
Problem Solving
