  • Salary commencing at $79,983 per annum (pro-rata) plus 11% superannuation, commensurate with skills and experience

The Opportunity

Positioned within Council’s People and Culture department, this role will see you responsible for partnering with the organisation to provide support and advice in the area of end-to-end recruitment and generalist HR.

No two days will be the same as you find yourself working collaboratively across our organisation in partnership with Council staff to discuss, influence and resolve specialist problems with a level of flexibility to provide a solutions focused service.

The duties and reporting line of this role may be varied from time to time by Council in accordance with operational needs.

Skills & Experience

  • Hold or be working towards a relevant tertiary qualification with limited experience, or lesser relevant qualifications with demonstrated work experience.
  • Experience in delivering exemplary customer service.
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage conflicting priorities, ambitious time frames and work under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with the business to provide specialist information and advice on recruitment practices, relevant HR policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Demonstrated ability in establishing strong business partner relationships within an organisation.
