Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Primary to lead our brand-new school in Dubai. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of excellence in primary education and the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of staff and students. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the primary school, ensuring high-quality education and a positive learning environment for students.
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the primary school, in line with the overall vision and goals of the school.
  • Recruit, train, and support a team of qualified and dedicated teachers, ensuring their professional growth and development.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff and students, providing regular feedback and implementing necessary improvements.
  • Collaborate with other school leaders to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to education across all grade levels.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and the wider community, fostering a sense of partnership and involvement in the school.
  • Manage the budget and resources of the primary school, ensuring efficient and effective use of funds.
  • Stay up-to-date with current educational practises and research, implementing innovative strategies to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in primary education, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing successful educational strategies and initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of British curriculum and international education standards.
  • Experience in recruiting, training, and managing a team of teachers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other school leaders and stakeholders.
  • Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards change.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
