Our Fitness team is looking for talented and enthusiastic individuals to fill the position of Casual Fitness Instructor. If you have an enthusiastic and outgoing personality with a background in Gymnasium and Fitness instruction, we would like to hear from you.
In this position you will be responsible for motivating clients to reach their fitness goals in a safe, effective and enjoyable environment.
To be successful you will have:
- Experience in the Fitness industry preferred but not essential as in house training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Customer Focus Driven
- Excellent verbal communication skills and personal presentation
- Positive Attitude and enthusiastic Individual willing to learn
- Available for early morning starts (5.15am), evenings (till 8.30pm) and Weekends.
- Passionate about the Fitness Industry
- A good level of physical fitness
- A current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- As part of our recruitment process, you will be required to participate in a full pre-employment medical that includes drug and alcohol testing.
You will also have to hold certificates in:
- Cert 3 Health and Fitness (essential)
- Cert 4 Health and Fitness (or working towards)
- Senior First Aid
The finer details
This Casual Gym Instructor role is a Level A1-A3 position and is paid an hourly rate of between $36.02 – $41.19 per hour (inclusive of a 20% casual loading). Additional rates apply for all ordinary hours worked on a Saturday (25%) and Sunday (50%). Any hours worked as a Group Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer are paid an hourly rate of $64.45 per hour.
