What we are looking for:

We are currently on the look out for a skilled professional to join us in delivering exceptional services and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence as our Manager Budgeting and Strategic Accounting.

In this role you will steer our financial strategies by overseeing all facets of budgeting and management accounting. Your leadership skills will be instrumental in guiding our dedicated team to deliver a comprehensive range of financial and budgeting services.

Relocation assistance up to $6,000 is offered; and five days recreation leave per year in addition to four weeks annual leave in accordance with our Individual Flexibility Agreement.

What you should have to apply:

AQF Level 7 (or above) in Accounting or Business and/or practical experience relevant to the role

  • Qualification and suitable experience is mandatory; however if you don’t hold but have extensive working experience (eg 10 years in a similar or financial management role) we would still like to hear from you.

Extensive budgeting and accounting management experience

Project Management experience

Contract Management experience

High level Excel knowledge

Understanding and skills in complex financial models

Outstanding work ethic

Driven to succeed

Management and Leadership skills and experience

Queensland Class “C” drivers’ licence

What’s nice to have:

CPA Membership or other accounting professional membership

Local Government experience
