About This Opportunity
The Project Officer supports the delivery of a number of research projects including coordinating ethics approvals and applications, project management, project communication, stakeholder engagements, project documentation, project deliverables, and other duties as required.
Key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the successful administration of all aspects of the project cycle, including planning, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation to support the successful completion of projects
Organising and supporting the delivery of project-related activities, events, consultation activities and meetings
Undertaking complex data entry, retrieval, and document management.
Coordinating project communication, including the drafting of emails, documents, and other administrative study materials
Utilising a range of desktop-based programs and management information systems, Canva and reference management software such as EndNote.
Coordinate stakeholder engagements, including planning, developing materials, and facilitating stakeholder participation in the project
This is a part-time (20%), fixed-term/casual position for up to December 2027. At HEW level 5, the full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $77,396.47 – $86,029.78 plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $90,553.87 – $100,654.84 annually. As this role is covered by an Enterprise Agreement, you will also receive regular remuneration increases – at least once a year.
About You
A degree in public health with subsequent experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education training.
Previous experience working as part of a project team or in a similar role would be highly advantageous
Project Management and multi-tasking experience, with an agile and flexible approach
Excellent oral, written and stakeholder engagement communication skills
Experience using statistical software data analysis programs (Stata) or the ability to quickly learn these skills
Demonstrated skills in providing a high level of customer service, including effective interpersonal skills.
Experience with conducting systematic reviews and consumer and community representative work
