What you’ll be doing
The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC), Fertility Coordinator and Clinical Research will support the development and delivery of the oncofertility clinical and research service in an age appropriate way and in line with the oncofertility competency framework.
The CNC will work with fertility, haematology and oncology multidisciplinary teams to ensure access to timely age appropriate oncofertility care and research.
The CNC Fertility Coordinator and Clinical Research will be a member of the Fertility and Research Centre and work across Randwick Campus with cancer health care professionals to ensure the coordination and expert delivery of oncofertility care and research is provided in a timely fashion.
The CNC Fertility Coordinator and Clinical Research will also be involved with the state-wide oncofertility
service delivery, improved access to oncofertility health information using different platforms and training of health care professionals

Selection Criteria * Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse, Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Minimum of five years full time equivalent post graduate qualification experience and a relevant post graduate qualification.
- Experience in clinical research, in the fertility and/or cancer setting, and experience with literature searching, data entry and basic report writing.
- Proven clinical leadership skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in nursing practice.
- Demonstrated effective communication and inter-personal skills across a variety of mediums and knowledge of the practice development framework to clinical practice.
- Demonstrated involvement in the development/change of clinical practice underpinned by evidence based research.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic and clinical service planning and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Proven skills in clinical teaching, the identification of education needs in the clinical area, and competency in the use of contemporary information systems including Microsoft computer packages (Word, Excel).
