Women’s and Children’s Health Network – Corporate Services – Switchboard Operator – North Adelaide
Salary – $57,842 – $62,221 p.a – ASO2
Employment Full time – Temporary 6 month role – Term Contract
Required to work a 24/7 roster (includes day, afternoon and nightshifts).

On top of this, as an employee of Women’s and Children’s Health Network, you will have access to Salary Sacrifice benefits with which allows for generous salary sacrifice arrangements each FBT year as a special benefit for employees of the local Health Networks. A Meal Entertainment allowance per FBT year can also be salary sacrificed out of your pre-tax income to cover costs over and above the Everyday living expenses benefit.

The Women’s & Children’s Health Network provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia. We are the state’s leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA’s largest maternity and obstetric service.

The Opportunity

An opportunity exists to join the Switchboard team as a Switchboard Operator, ASO2 on a term contract, working in a full-time temporary role.

The Switchboard operator is part of a small team delivering an effective, courteous and professional first point of telephone contact. The role responsibilities include a provision of immediate responses to Code and Emergency Calls; efficient delivery of telecommunication services by directing phone calls, pager requests and public address related messages in line with protocols and telecommunication etiquette.

We are looking for someone who has:

Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and ability to relate well to all people including professional staff and the general public
Demonstrated high level of proficiency in keyboard skills
