This role will be situated within the School of Engineering and Technology (SET), which provides world class accredited undergraduate degrees to Australian Defence Force personnel and civilian students. The School is strongly research active, with a growing number of Education Focussed academic staff undertaking education research in engineering.
UNSW Canberra has an exciting opportunity for a Research Associate in Engineering Education, to work on a project developing and evaluating teaching modules on engineering ethics.
Responsibilities:
The purpose of this Research Associate Engineering Education position is to develop teaching modules on engineering ethics and carry out research to evaluate the effectiveness of the teaching materials. The Research Associate will contribute to publication in international journals and participate at national and/or international conference/s. The Research Associate will also undertake a range of teaching duties and student support activities as required.

Our ideal candidate will have:
- A PhD in engineering or a related discipline
- Skills in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Experience developing teaching materials
- Excellent teaching skills
- Familiarity with the Engineers Australia Code of Ethics
