Inner West Council is a vibrant and diverse LGA which offers a huge scope of exposure to complex and engaging projects for individuals with a background in project management or engineering.

As Project Manager you will be accountable for the planning, project management and delivery of sustainable infrastructure capital works for road, stormwater and transport related assets.

Reporting to the Coordinator Roads and Stormwater Projects your outcomes will address social, environmental, economic and governance objectives of Council’s Community Strategic Plan.

You will form and lead project control groups in the scoping, stakeholder engagement, design, procurement, construction and commissioning of capital infrastructure projects to achieve integration of council wide initiatives and needs into project delivery.

You will implement best practice project management systems and processes and ensure assigned capital projects and programs are delivered within budgeted year.

$103,163 to $123,948 + Superannuation

Civil Liabilities Allowance subject to eligibility as per the Award

Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications

1. Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, project management, construction management or other appropriate discipline recognised by relevant Australian professional institute.
2. Comprehensive experience in successful project management of infrastructure works with the capacity to support innovative thinking.
3. Sound experience in the design and construction of civil infrastructure.
4. Current NSW Class C Driver’s License
